Product overview
Lanxin Robotics formally released the VersaBot, model VB-1, at the World Robot Conference on August 23, 2024. The launch article describes a 1.6 m robot with a 2 m arm span, pure-vision navigation, 360-degree visual obstacle avoidance and RGB-D docking. This official model designation resolves the earlier ambiguity over whether VersaBot and VB1 were the same product.
The current VB1 page describes a humanoid upper body on a four-wheel omnidirectional base. It lists 700 ร 610 ร 1,650 mm dimensions, six arm joints, a 2 kg gripping load, a 0 to 1.2 m/s speed range, 2 to 3 hours of runtime and panoramic RGB-D vision with 3D laser SLAM. The height and navigation description therefore differ from the original launch configuration; this entry uses the current product-page specification.
Lanxin said in August 2026 that its humanoid chassis platform had progressed from customer validation to mass delivery, with 500 units delivered across the platform line and more than 1,000 orders. Because that announcement is not broken down by complete robot model, it supports commercial status but not a VB1 shipment count. No official VB1 price is published.
