About AKINROBOTICS ADA GH5
The ADA GH5 is a wheeled humanoid service robot from AKINROBOTICS, the robotics unit of the Konya software company AKINSOFT. It was presented at the opening of the company's humanoid robot factory in Konya on 4 November 2017.
AKINSOFT describes the GH5 as a hybrid of its waitress and hostess robots. Its listed features include two seven-axis arms, a three-motor torso, a three-wheel steering mechanism, sound, object and facial recognition, LED expressions, an LCD screen and automatic return to a charging area. The company's current archive lists a height of 165 cm, a weight of 90 kg, a 24 V battery, two hours of operation and 10 units produced. An earlier AKINSOFT article gave 65 kg, so the later archive figure is used. An AKINSOFT regional dealer states that the robot can carry up to 10 kg.
Press coverage in February 2018 showed the robot dancing, making tea, cooking and grilling food. AKINSOFT also offered short-term GH5 rentals to solution partners during its 2018-19 bonus program. The model has since been replaced by later ADA robots and is absent from the current product list, so it is listed as discontinued.
