TRON 2 is a modular embodied robot from LimX Dynamics. LimX introduced it on 18 December 2025 as a platform for research and industrial application development. It can be configured as a bipedal Sole model, a wheel-legged model or a dual-arm model, which LimX calls a multi-form embodied robot. The official launch release opened preorders at a starting price of CNY 49,800.
LimX's specification page and user manual list 7-DoF arms, 5-DoF legs and a 2-DoF active vision head. Each arm carries up to 5 kg, or 3 kg when extended, while the product page cites a 10 kg dual-arm payload. The Sole biped stands 987 mm and has a stated top speed of 2–3 m/s; the wheeled-leg form stands 1015 mm and reaches 3–5 m/s. The 9 Ah, 46.8 V battery provides a stated four hours of runtime, and charging from 20% to 100% takes 54 minutes.
The EDU edition includes an Intel Core Ultra developer module with 2 TB of storage, and RGB-D cameras are listed at the waist, head and wrists, with the head and wrist cameras specific to dual-arm builds. The SDK supports Python and C++ with ROS1 and ROS2. A June 2026 manual records that its initial draft was prepared for the first shipment, supporting commercial status, but LimX does not publish weight or a general delivery schedule.
