Product overview
MIRO is Midea Group's line of industrial humanoid robots. Midea officially unveiled the third-generation MIRO U on 5 December 2025 at a technology forum in Guangzhou. The company describes it as a six-arm wheel-legged system intended to exceed the limits of a conventional human-shaped body in factory work.
The MIRO U uses a waist module with three motion DoF for stable vertical lifting and 360-degree in-place rotation. Its six bionic arms each have six high-precision drive joints, giving 39 disclosed body DoF before interchangeable end effectors are counted. Those end effectors can be switched between modules including dexterous hands and vacuum suction cups. Midea says the arrangement allows several operations to be performed in parallel.
Midea originally said the robot would enter its Wuxi high-end washing-machine factory by the end of 2025. The company's 2025 annual report, published in 2026, confirms that MIRO U is undergoing pilot applications there. Midea projects a 30% improvement in production-line changeover efficiency and a 40% reduction in equipment footprint, but independent operating results are not published. The robot is therefore classified as pilot, with no public price or order channel.
