Aldebaran Robotics
Aldebaran Robotics was a Paris-based humanoid-robotics company founded in 2005. It developed the NAO and Romeo robots and was controlled first by SoftBank and later by United Robotics Group. Aldebaran was placed in judicial liquidation on 2 June 2025; Maxvision Technology acquired its core robot assets in July 2025, and Maxtronics Robotics now sells and supports NAO6.
