Product overview

About CASBOT W1

CASBOT W1 is a wheeled embodied-AI robot from CASBOT, the Beijing company that also makes the CASBOT 02 biped. It combines a wheeled base, a single-axis lift column and two 7-DoF arms. CASBOT previewed it for WAIC 2025, where press reported a single pick-and-place task on the booth, after instructions from the CASBOT 02. The company aims the W1 at smart retail, sorting and logistics, industrial manufacturing and research.

The product page gives a height range of 112 to 210 cm and a weight of about 260 kg. It lists 20 degrees of freedom in total, a 10 kg payload (5 kg per arm) and a maximum unloaded speed of 1.2 m/s. The battery is a 48 V, 25 Ah lithium iron phosphate pack, with a stated maximum runtime of 5 hours and about 2 hours to recharge. Charging is autonomous. Sensors include RGB-D and binocular cameras, an expandable 360-degree lidar and microphone arrays. The arms end in a 2-DoF gripper that can be replaced by a dexterous hand. The page rates the robot IP68.

The manufacturer says the W1 runs CASBOT Embodied Brain 2.0 for multimodal interaction and task control. At WAIC 2026 the company showed a wheeled model named W2, but only in a video. The sources do not explain how the W1 and W2 relate, so this file treats the W1 as a prototype and does not claim it is generally available.

The product page lists no price or purchase channel.
