Kepler K2 Bumblebee Humanoid Robot โProduct overview
The K2 'Bumblebee' is a 175 cm, 75 kg industrial humanoid from Shanghai-based Kepler Robotics. Kepler showed it at ICRA 2025 in Atlanta in June 2025, and gives it 52 degrees of freedom, with 11 per dexterous hand, and more than 80 integrated sensors. Kepler's press release calls it the world's first commercially available hybrid-architecture humanoid, a claim not independently verified here.
The K2 uses a hybrid serial-parallel design that combines roller-screw linear actuators with rotary actuators. Kepler quotes a 15 kg payload per arm and 30 kg with both arms, up to eight hours of operation on a one-hour charge, and 100 TOPS of onboard compute. An eight-hour livestream at the 2025 World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC) in Shanghai was used to show endurance. Kepler presents the robot for factory, automotive and logistics work.
Kepler announced mass production on 26 September 2025 and listed a bipedal basic price of RMB 248,000, about USD 34,800 at an approximate rate. Jiemian reported preliminary orders in the thousands, which are indicative rather than firm. Kepler's website returned no product or sales content during research, so no official order or contact page is confirmed for this robot.
