Product overview
Xingzai is a commercial-service humanoid in ZTE Corporation's Xing series. The Shenzhen telecom and equipment maker officially presented the series at the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference on 17 July 2026 and classified Xingzai as its lightweight bionic model for commercial service.
Detailed figures come from press coverage rather than ZTE's official release. That coverage describes Xingzai as about 1.6 m tall and just over 30 kg and relays a claim that it is the lightest humanoid of its size. It also describes a tendon-driven lightweight structure, flexible lattice skin, a human-like gait and obstacle avoidance for busy public areas.
Xingzai is aimed at reception, exhibition tours, consultation and check-in, unlike the heavy-duty Xingqing and Xingwang models shown alongside it. The sources reviewed do not give its degrees of freedom, speed, battery life, compute or price, and they do not say whether any unit is deployed for a customer.
The page lists Xingzai as a prototype on that basis. ZTE's 8 October 2026 investor-relations reply lists the robot but does not confirm the 1.6 m height, 30 kg weight or 'lightest' claim. Its legs are not described in detail; the biped classification follows from the reported anthropomorphic gait and full-size humanoid description and remains an inference until ZTE publishes a datasheet.
