Full-size bipedal form
Pudu says the D9 is designed to match adult body proportions. Its legs have six degrees of freedom each and its arms have seven each. [1]
Product overview
PUDU D9 is a full-sized bipedal humanoid from Pudu Robotics, a Shenzhen company best known for commercial service robots. Pudu announced the D9 on 19 December 2024 as its first full-sized biped. The launch material listed the robot at 170 cm and 65 kg.
An April 2026 official update describes the latest iteration as 170 cm and 58 kg and says development remains ongoing. Pudu's current product page still displays the launch-era technical set: 42 degrees of freedom, a 2 m/s maximum walking speed, 352 Nยทm maximum joint torque, 20 kg dual-arm payload and the 11-DoF DH11 hand. It also lists RGB, RGBD, tactile and IMU sensors, 275 TOPS of computing power and a 0.72 kWh battery. Because Pudu warns that shipped versions may differ, figures other than the updated weight should be treated as the published product-page configuration.
The December 2024 release said pre-sale would open soon, but the current page provides only a sales-contact form. No public order mechanism, price, delivery schedule or customer deployment is verified. Combined with Pudu's explicit description of ongoing development, this supports prototype rather than preorder status.
โAiming for commercially viable embodied intelligence, the PUDU D9 will soon be available for pre-saleโ
