What it measures

Not a test or benchmark. It sets out which standards are needed in six areas: foundational and common standards, brain-inspired intelligence and computing, limbs and components, complete systems and integration, applications, and safety and ethics.

How it works

The framework organizes planned standards into six pillars under the MIIT technical committee. The committee says it aims to complete standards-setting cycles within six months. The individual standards are not listed in the sources we opened.

Why it matters

It is the national framework that will shape humanoid standards in China, and it includes a safety-and-ethics pillar. We found no numbered humanoid safety standard in the sources reviewed.
