KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology)

KAIST is a national research university in Daejeon, South Korea. It was formally founded on 16 February 1971 under a special legislative mandate as the country's first science and technology university. Team KAIST, led by Professor Jun Ho Oh, developed the HUBO humanoid series and won the 2015 DARPA Robotics Challenge finals with DRC-HUBO+, built with Rainbow Robotics.
