Product overview
Orca is a bipedal humanoid from Cyan Robotics, a company registered in Shanghai as 上海青心意创科技有限公司. The official Orca I page lists a standing size of 1510 × 520 × 280 mm, about 42 kg with battery, and 28 degrees of freedom: six per arm, four per leg, two per foot, one at the waist and three in the head. The page gives about 5 kg of payload per arm and lists optional dexterous hands.
For sensing, the official list includes 3D LiDAR, a depth camera, an IMU and a six-microphone ring array. Compute consists of a 14-core CPU and an NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano Super module. Cyan also publishes development examples and whole-body teleoperation material, supporting the public-SDK designation.
Orca I completed the Beijing humanoid half-marathon in April 2025 without falls, with a battery swap of about two minutes, according to the Shanghai government. The official page lists quick-release battery packs that provide about one hour of walking or two hours of standing.
Cyan placed standard and flagship Orca versions on sale in China in June 2025 for CNY 298,000 and CNY 348,000. Cyan's current home page presents a revised 145 cm, 40.5 kg configuration; this entry retains the 151 cm, 42 kg Orca I figures from its dedicated model page rather than mixing generations.
