Product overview
UBTech Robotics and the Beijing Humanoid Robot Innovation Center jointly launched the Tien Kung Xingzhe, also called the Tiangong Walker, in March 2025. UBTech positions it as a secondary-development platform for academic research and education. Heise reported a launch price equivalent to US$41,310, and an authorized Japanese distributor now offers consultations, loans and purchase quotations.
UBTech's V2.0.7.x manual documents three configurations. The base TK2101 is 173 cm, 64 kg and 20-DoF, with four joints per arm, six per leg and no articulated hands. TK2201 Voice & Vision is 68 kg and 21-DoF. TK2301 Embodied Intelligence is 75 kg and 42-DoF, adding seven-joint arms, six-joint dexterous hands, a three-joint head and one waist joint. This resolves earlier listings that mixed dimensions and joint counts from different variants.
All three use 48 V main and backup batteries rated at 30 Ah and 3 Ah, for about 1.584 kWh combined. UBTech specifies more than 3.5 hours of operation and less than four hours to charge. The base model uses an Intel Core i7-1355U controller and an IMU; the highest configuration adds two Jetson AGX Orin modules and richer vision and force sensing. Joint and sensor interfaces are open for development.
