About Gelanruo Laborer 3
Laborer 3 (劳动者3号) is the third numbered biped in the Laborer humanoid line from Wuhan Gelanruo Intelligent Technology and Huazhong University of Science and Technology. It was shown with Laborers 1 and 2 at a Hubei event on 5 February 2025. HUST describes Laborers 2 and 3 as iterative upgrades of Laborer 1.
HUST gives a height of 180 cm and a self-weight of 95 kg for the Laborer series while discussing the three robots together, so those values are included as series-level figures with reported confidence. In the demonstration, Laborer 3 walked stably on flat ground with straight knees and moved sideways and backward, including while holding a New Year card.
The Laborer series is intended for substation inspection and material handling. No Laborer 3 degrees-of-freedom count, rated payload, speed, battery capacity, runtime or price has been published, and no deployment tied specifically to this numbered unit was found.
