Product overview
InMoov is a publicly documented, life-size humanoid design created by French modelmaker and sculptor Gaël Langevin. It is shared as printable files rather than as a manufactured product. The project started in January 2012 as Langevin's personal project, and the project site describes a humanoid that builders can 3D print and animate.
The robot's parts are 3D printed, and the site says they can be printed on a home 3D printer with a 12 × 12 × 12 cm build area. The design covers a head, torso, arms and hands, and the site includes a build section for non-motorised legs. Servos and an Arduino move the hand, and builders use the public MyRobotLab software platform.
The downloadable parts are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial terms. After Thingiverse changed its policies, the files moved to Langevin's own site. The project site does not give a standardized height, weight or total degree-of-freedom count, so those fields are left empty. InMoov is listed as a prototype because it is a build-it-yourself platform rather than a finished robot generally sold and shipped to customers.

Downloadable parts use a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial license. The files now sit on the project's own site after Thingiverse changed its policies. [1][2]
Servos and an Arduino move the hand, and the site says the individual fingers can move at different speeds. [1]
The design was made in Blender and is controlled through MyRobotLab, with project files and build guidance publicly available. [1]
