Product overview
KEENON Robotics introduced the XMAN-R1 in spring 2025 as a humanoid service robot designed to interact with people and coordinate with the company's delivery and cleaning robots. Unlike KEENON's later bipedal XMAN-F1, the R1 uses a wheeled base for indoor service work. KEENON deployed it at the Shangri-La Traders Hotel near Shanghai Hongqiao Airport in October 2025, where it handles guest reception and other interactive tasks while specialized robots perform delivery and cleaning.
KEENON's public launch release does not contain a hardware table. Product material supplied through regional distributors consistently lists a 110 kg platform with 36 whole-body DoF, two 7-DoF arms and two 6-DoF dexterous hands. The listed height varies slightly between 172 and 174 cm. Reported perception hardware includes two LiDAR units, four depth cameras and four HD wide-angle cameras, while an NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin 64 GB provides 275 TOPS of compute.
By September 2026 KEENON was describing the hotel installation as a real-world deployment and tying its humanoid strategy to the KOM 3.0 service-industry vision-language-action architecture. Public pricing and an official order channel remain unavailable. Because the verified deployment is limited to selected commercial sites rather than general off-the-shelf availability, the status remains pilot.
