Product overview
ROBAN 2 is the second-generation ROBAN from Leju Robotics in Shenzhen, a small-to-medium biped humanoid for AI education and robotics research. A Leju-authored release is dated 24 September 2025. Leju's 2026 IPO application draft lists the robot at about 124 cm tall and 42 kg, and says it upgrades the previous generation's body performance while adding a LiDAR positioning module and a split brain-cerebellum compute architecture.
According to the filing, ROBAN 2 has open interfaces that let external large models add multimodal perception and decision-making, and it supports secondary development. The company positions it for high-dynamic motion-control research and for advanced courses at vocational colleges and universities. A World Robot Conference exhibitor page lists at least 23 degrees of freedom; an older third-party database gives 22, so this file uses the event-organizer figure and records the conflict.
An April 2026 report said ROBAN 2 was undergoing small-batch trial production and that its mass-production process was still being refined. That supports pilot status, not general commercial availability. Pricing and order details are not published in the sources reviewed.
