Product overview
MagicBot X1 is MagicLab's full-size flagship biped. MagicLab first showed it at its Global Embodied Intelligence Summit in Silicon Valley on 29 April 2026, alongside the Magic-Mix world model and the H01 dexterous hand. Gasgoo reports that the robot was also demonstrated at the World Artificial Intelligence Conference in Shanghai in July 2026.
MagicLab's product page lists the X1 at 180 cm tall and 70 kg, with 31 degrees of freedom: two in the head, seven in each arm, three at the waist and six in each leg. It also lists dual hot-swappable 18Ah battery packs, an 8-core CPU, Orin NX AI compute and a stereo camera module. A September official article clarifies knee-joint torque as 350 N·m peak and 450 N·m at the limit, while the product page lists at least 350 N·m peak and at least 400 N·m maximum.
MagicLab describes a Standard Edition for ready-to-use commercial deployment and a Research Edition supporting low-level secondary development. The product page's statement that secondary development is unsupported therefore applies to the standard configuration rather than the whole X1 line. No public SDK was found, so open-SDK status remains unknown.
The published sources give no payload, speed, per-charge runtime or price. Gasgoo's WAIC coverage describes slam dunks and table-tennis rallies, but these are company demonstrations rather than independent tests. MagicLab accepts purchase and quote inquiries, but no X1-specific customer shipment was verified, so this entry uses preorder rather than commercial status.
