Product overview
Robbyant R1 is a two-armed wheeled humanoid from Robbyant, Ant Group's embodied-AI company. The R1 was first shown at IFA 2025 in Berlin on 6 September 2025, where it cooked shrimp in a mock kitchen. Ant has described chef, tour-guide, medical question-answering and remotely controlled tasks.
South China Morning Post reported company figures of 1.6 to 1.75 m adjustable height, about 110 kg, 34 degrees of freedom and a speed under 1.5 m/s. The sources reviewed do not describe its hands, sensors, compute or battery.
The R1 is supplied as part of business scenario solutions rather than as a standalone retail product. By September 2025 it was reported to be in mass production and shipped to clients including the Shanghai History Museum. Ant Group said in January 2026 that it was already in use for catering, guiding and medical question-answering. This supports commercial status, although no public list price or direct order page is available.
