Xuanjing Shennong

Shennong (神农) is a 173 cm, 50 kg humanoid that Beijing Xuanjing Technology entered in the 2025 Beijing Yizhuang humanoid robot half marathon, held on 19 April 2025. The entry list names it as the entry of the Shennong robot team (神农机器人队). Sina's race coverage attributes the robot to Beijing Xuanjing Technology (北京玄晶科技有限公司).

Press describes four 66 cm fans mounted on its back. Press reports a speed of about 5–6 km/h and a battery change roughly every 35 minutes. During the race the fans proved too powerful, and the robot struck a railing, was damaged and withdrew. A different robot also called Shennong was shown in Wuhan on 5 February 2025. Coverage attributes it to Academician Ding Han's team at Huazhong University of Science and Technology. The sources reviewed do not show whether the two are the same platform. No rated runtime, joint count, payload or compute figures were published for the Beijing robot, and no sales channel or price was found.
