Product overview

About AI2 Robotics AlphaBot

AlphaBot, also written Alpha Bot, is the original robot in the AlphaBot line from AI2 Robotics (智平方), a Shenzhen company founded in April 2023. The company showed it at the 2024 World Artificial Intelligence Conference in Shanghai in July 2024 as its debut with ecosystem partners. Chinese coverage says it was aimed at industrial and household use.

Japanese coverage describes the AlphaBot series as height-adjustable wheeled humanoid robots. The original runs on AI2R Brain, which the company describes as a general embodied intelligence system built end-to-end on a multimodal large model. In April 2025 the company said AI2R Brain had been upgraded and renamed Alpha Brain, the same month it launched AlphaBot 2.

We found no official specifications for the original AlphaBot. Height, weight, degrees of freedom, payload, speed, battery, runtime and price were not stated in the sources we opened. Its successor, AlphaBot 1S, was unveiled at the 2024 World Robot Conference in August 2024. The original is listed as a prototype because we found only demonstrations and launch coverage, with no delivery records.
