About AI2 Robotics AlphaBot 1S
AlphaBot 1S is a wheeled humanoid from AI2 Robotics (智平方), whose Shenzhen entity is ZhiPingFang (Shenzhen) Technology. The company unveiled it at the 2024 World Robot Conference in August 2024 as an upgrade to the original Alpha Bot, with deliveries planned from the fourth quarter of 2024.
Launch coverage describes a wheeled base, a folding lift structure and highly flexible robotic arms. The company says the 1S has 50% more joints and 200% more sensors than its predecessor, without naming the sensor types. The robot runs the company's AI2R Brain system. Demonstrated tasks included loading and unloading on an electronics production line, and coffee-making and butler-style service at home.
The sources reviewed do not give height, weight, degrees of freedom, payload, speed, battery life or price for the 1S. A March 2025 report says AlphaBot 1S entered mass production in the fourth quarter of 2024 and had signed multiple automotive and manufacturing companies, supporting commercial status. The later AlphaBot 2 has its own published figures, and this page does not apply them to the 1S.
