Product overview
The DR02 is a bipedal humanoid from DEEP Robotics, a Hangzhou company known for industrial quadruped robots. DEEP Robotics launched it on 9 October 2025 for industrial work in outdoor and variable environments. The launch release listed a height of 175 cm; the newer user manual dated 8 May 2026 gives 180 cm and about 68 kg for the standard model, so this entry follows the manual.
The standard DR02 has 21 degrees of freedom, excluding arm end effectors. The manual specifies a 20 kg payload, a maximum working speed of 1.5 m/s, continuous stairs up to 25 cm and slopes up to 20 degrees. Its 4 m/s figure is an extreme laboratory test speed that the company says is not available for external use.
The robot is IP66 rated with the battery installed and specified for -20 to 55 degrees Celsius. A swappable 1.44 kWh battery provides two hours of no-load runtime under ideal conditions, and the stated charge time is 2.5 to 3 hours. The standard model has a wide-angle camera, microphone array and speaker; LiDAR, depth cameras and additional AI compute belong to the Pro configuration in the February 2026 brochure.
DEEP Robotics provides an official purchase-intention form, and RobotShop lists the standard model as an on-demand item with manufacturer-backed warranty. Retailer prices vary sharply, so no headline price is recorded.
