Product overview
LG CLOiD is a home humanoid that LG Electronics announced on 25 December 2025 and showed at CES 2026 in Las Vegas, under its 'Zero Labor Home' theme. LG describes it as designed for a wide range of indoor household tasks. Its head holds the processing chipset along with a display, speaker, camera and sensors.
LG says each of the two arms has seven degrees of freedom and that each hand has five individually actuated fingers. A wheeled base provides autonomous navigation, while the torso can tilt to change working height. The company's software is branded Affectionate Intelligence and is described as refining its responses over repeated interactions. Demonstrations included taking milk from a fridge, placing a croissant in an oven, starting laundry and folding clothes, and coordinating with LG's ThinQ appliances.
LG has not published a price, release date, height or weight for CLOiD. Because it remains a demonstration platform rather than a product on sale, it is listed as a prototype.
