Product overview
The CL series is an early line of full-size humanoid robots from LimX Dynamics, a Shenzhen company. LimX presented the first-generation CL-1 in a test published on 28 December 2023. The robot stepped onto a curb, climbed stairs dynamically and walked down a 15-degree slope, indoors and outdoors. LimX attributes this to its 'Perceptive Control' method, which combines real-time perception, gait planning and locomotion control.
Later videos show the CL-2 and CL-3. A January 2025 video of the CL-2 shows contortions in the waist and hip that press coverage links to new in-house, high-torque electric motors. A May 2025 report on the CL-3 describes warm-up and stretching movements; it gives a height of about 164 cm and between 29 and 52 degrees of freedom, depending on the source.
No price, weight, runtime, rated payload or sales terms have been published for any CL model. LimX did demonstrate CL-1 manipulating 4.1 kg and 8.2 kg objects in August 2024, but that is not a rated payload capacity. The sources found do not say whether any CL robot has been sold or deployed to customers. LimX's current English homepage lists Luna and Oli, not the CL models. This entry therefore treats the series as a prototype line known from demonstrations.

A January 2025 video shows the CL-2 performing waist and hip contortions. Heise links the movement to new in-house, high-torque electric motors with a hollow design. [2]
A May 2025 report describes the CL-3 doing warm-up stretches. Other LimX videos show squats and rising from the ground. Press gives a height of about 164 cm. [3]
LimX has not published a price, order page or delivery date for any CL model. Its current English homepage lists Luna and Oli instead. [4]
