About Sichuan Embodied Tianxingzhe 1
Tianxingzhe 1 (天行者一号), also called Skywalker I in English-language coverage, is the first-generation full-size humanoid from Sichuan Embodied Humanoid Robot Technology of Chengdu. China Daily reported in December 2024 that the robot had been unveiled online, giving its height as 1.65 m and its weight as 50 kg.
Sina Finance covered the robot at an AI science exhibition in June 2025. It described Tianxingzhe 1 as a full-size, upright-walking commercial-oriented humanoid, and reported that more than 90% of its core components are locally made, a figure given by the reporter rather than attributed to the company. IT之家 gave its endurance as about 1.5 hours.
During the Chengdu World Games in August 2025, Tianxingzhe 1 performed guiding work in the athletes' village and interacted with athletes through movement and speech. That field deployment supports pilot status. No evidence of sales or customer deliveries was found, so the robot is not classed as commercial. The company introduced Tianxingzhe 2 in September 2025 as its successor.
