Product overview
VR-M3 is the mid-range humanoid in VinRobotics' lineup for industrial and service use. The product page calls it the third prototype in that line. The June 2026 platform launch calls VR-M3 and VR-H5 commercial humanoid hardware, but describes strategic-partner and enterprise deployments as the beginning of a future commercialization roadmap. With no published order process, shipment or confirmed customer pilot, this record retains prototype status.
In May 2026 VinRobotics demonstrated VR-M3 navigating unfamiliar stairs at 0.6 m/s while carrying 5 kg. The company says the robot used a single forward-facing depth camera and a learned locomotion policy without LiDAR, motion capture, teleoperation or a pre-mapped environment. The 5 kg figure is a demonstrated load, not a published maximum payload rating.
That stair demonstration described the robot as about 60 kg. A newer official post in July 2026 gives a weight of 70 kg, so the newer figure is used here and the discrepancy is retained in the spec note.
VinRobotics says it plans to release a URDF model of VR-M3 through its open-source ecosystem. The official material reviewed does not give height, degrees of freedom, runtime or price.
