Xinciyuan Kongzi

Xinciyuan Kongzi is a Confucius-character version of the EX Robots bionic humanoid platform. The related EX Future Science and Technology Museum in Shenyang documented Confucius alongside other historical-character robots when the venue opened in November 2022. Xinhua later photographed a visitor interacting with Kongzi at Liaoning New Dimension Humanoid Robot Research Institute's booth during the 2025 Shenyang Robot Conference.

The robot is designed for cultural presentation and visitor interaction. Reporting from the museum says its historical-character robots can speak, move their arms and bodies, and display facial expressions; the Confucius unit recites or discusses material associated with the Analects. Liaoning New Dimension's parent, Dalian DS Technology, sells and customizes EX Robots bionic humanoids for museums, education, reception and public events.

No model-specific height, weight, degree-of-freedom count, hand specification, battery data or price has been published. A June 2026 company profile said autonomous walking remained an active research area. Kongzi is therefore classified as a stationary upper-body humanoid even though the exhibit has a full human likeness. Its museum use and the manufacturer's customization business support commercial status, but the date when this character first became available for customer orders or delivery is unknown.
