Product overview
The RAISE A1 (远征A1, Expedition A1) is the first humanoid from AgiBot (Zhiyuan Robotics). Press coverage dates its unveiling to 18 August 2023. AgiBot's product page calls it the first-generation general-purpose embodied intelligence robot, and launch coverage presents it as a development platform aimed mainly at industrial manufacturing.
The official product page lists 175 cm, 55 kg, more than 49 degrees of freedom, up to 5 kg per arm, and a 7 km/h walking speed. Its joint motors are described with peak torque above 350 N·m. Each SkillHand has 12 active and 5 passive degrees of freedom and vision-based fingertip sensing. The page lists a 200 TOPS AI compute system and the EI-Brain framework. Press coverage reported 53 kg at launch and an 80 kg whole-body load capacity.
The robot is legged, with reverse-knee joints. A company-hosted launch report describes interchangeable legged and wheeled lower-body configurations. At launch, press coverage called the unit a prototype and cited a target cost below 200,000 yuan; that was a cost target, not a sale price. AgiBot later described the A2 as its next-generation platform. The A1's legacy product page is still accessible, but the model is absent from AgiBot's current product catalog, so the discontinued status is an inference from supersession rather than an explicit company notice.
