About AKINROBOTICS AKINOID-3
AKINOID-3, also called AKINCI-3, is the third prototype in AKINSOFT's two-legged AKINCI humanoid series. The company's current Turkish media archive dates the announcement to 24 December 2014, one day after the project end date in its historical archive. An older English archive lists 25 December, so the current Turkish date is used.
AKINSOFT says the robot can express emotions through mouth, cheek and eyebrow movements, learn through artificial intelligence, gesture and interact with people. AKINROBOTICS's current archive gives a height of 160 cm, weight of 85 kg, a 44.4 V lithium-polymer battery, two hours of operation and a walking speed of 180 cm per minute, equivalent to 0.03 m/s. An official catalog also lists 3D vision, object and human tracking, temperature sensing and carbon-monoxide odor detection.
AKINSOFT originally marked the model 'COMING SOON,' but no price or general sale was published. Its project ended in December 2014 and later AKINCI prototypes followed it, so it is listed as discontinued. The claims and specifications are manufacturer statements; no independent technical test was found.
