Product overview
VinMotion is a Vingroup subsidiary based in Hanoi, founded in January 2025 to develop and commercialize humanoid robots. Its first robot, Motion 1, appeared in a company video in June 2025 and was publicly presented in a larger demonstration at Vingroup's 32nd anniversary in August 2025, where several units performed a synchronized routine.
VinMotion's official website presents Motion 1 and a second model, Motion 2, but gives no height, weight, degrees of freedom, payload, speed or price for either. Motion 1 is visibly bipedal in the company's material, and contemporary coverage describes it walking and waving.
Coverage says VinMotion planned initial use in light industrial work at VinFast factories, such as moving parts and checking quality, followed by possible warehouse and service roles. The sources reviewed do not document a customer deployment.
No sales channel or price has been published, so the status remains prototype. June 2025 is used as the announcement date because that is when the first Motion 1 video was released; the larger public presentation followed in August.
